SO THE RAPTURE IS COMING!

There is a group predicting the Rapture on May 21,2011

Let me start by saying, If the Rapture does not occur Saturday May 21,2011, IT WILL OCCUR! If it does, I’m in!!

If it does not occur:

 more fodder for the scoffers-2 Peter 3:3-4  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

more confusion for a world already stumbling in profound darkness-Isaiah 59:10  We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.

more complacency for Christians-Matthew 24:44  Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

BUT WE KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN

Luke 21:8  And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

Matthew 24:23  Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

Matthew 24:36  But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

While these verses deal doctrinally with the Advent, not the Rapture, the principle is the same, there will always be those that try to date the Lord’s return and will be wrong.

$100 million! That’s what one radio station claims the group promoting the Rapture has taken in.   P.T. Barnum would be proud of them!! Shows you that our sophisticated, intellectual society still likes a good scam! (Can’t tell me its all uneducated poor people putting up that kind of scratch! ) Also good to know that even though the economy is in the tank, religious people still give. Faith restored!

THE LORD WILL RETURN, the Lord will keep His word and “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”  1 Thessalonians 4:17  Probably not May 21. But He IS coming!
